  • About 200 years ago we invented modern metropolis.
  • About 70 years ago we invented suburbs
  • Neither the modern metropolis nor the modern suburb really work as living environments.
  • Now we are starting to experiment with an entirely new form of living environment: a sustainable, interlaced web of open land, productive food-producing land, pedestrian streets, gardens, houses in small neighborhoods: we call it ECO-LAND.

  • The essence of ECO-LAND is a new kind of relationship between people and land. It is an interlocking relation of houses and natural land, which sustains, nourishes, works economically, supports people's needs, and supports the spirit.
